About Jess
They/Them
Hey all,
Thanks for being here.
I love massage therapy because touch in its simplest form has the power to deeply heal. I decided to go to massage school after taking a 10-day silent meditation course, and experiencing how impactful massage therapy and strength training combined can be in healing both bodily injuries and the nervous system. I am interested in the space between neuroscience, strength training, somatic healing, trauma aware touch, and social justice.

In 2022 I studied at the New Hampshire Institute for the Therapeutic Arts in Harrison, Maine. Prior to that I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Conservation with a specialization in Sustainable Agriculture and double minors in Studio Art and Education. My interests have brought me across the world- from studying the Hochstetter's frog while hiking through the remote rivers of New Zealand; cycling across the Pacific Northwest studying and building affordable housing; thru-hiking the Long-Trail in Vermont; working on small New England organic Farms; and deep diving into social justice in the heart of it all, San Francisco. My heart lives in the red canyons of the desert, and in the balsam firs in the White Mountains.

I currently create and sell repurposed jewelry and tan hides (@juiceb0xcreations), organize a book club and community building events (@alloutdoorscollective), create DIY zines with friends (@conwayscenicsubway), and work with local organizations to transform cultures and bring affinity spaces into the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire.

I enjoy snorkeling around the river, biking around town, flowing down white water, playing on rocks, finding little moments of joy while hiking, making zines, sitting on the floors of book stores, doodling, laughing, dancing, cooking, being covered in dirt, playing with friends, and watching things grow.
I may be found lurking around icicles, mountains, deserts, farms, puddles of water of all sizes, food, or piles of art supplies.
See you out there!
